To all to unfortunate wanderers who landed here : welcome !
We, the Lavender Prophets, are glad to see you in our humble abode. But first things first, we shall introduce ourselves. We are Idir and Monia, two queer teenagers living in the Maghreb.
Monia is a Moroccan, lesbian dork, fascinated by all things queer studies, and is such a baby dyke that it’s a wonder she’s not out yet.
Idir is a fagalicious gay polyglot from the Algerian hinterland who puts the “Al” in Algeria, “Rock” in Morocco, and “Tuna” in Tunisia, he obviously has too much time on his hands.
Together, we’ll try to describe our life deep in The Closet and why the Maghreb is still one of the gayest places on earth despite the homophobia. (Hammams, anyone ?)

Ahhhh gotta love you two. You rock. When’s a new post getting published?
When I beat the Procrastination Monster :p
I don’t usually cuss, but fucking brilliant. =D And I love you two, as well. =3
I. HEART. YOU.
That is all. xD
Ahahaha. You two make me giggle.
Ahahahahahahaha…
Either I need to get to Armand Hammer or Mahindra.. (or Norway.. I can always get a webcam =P) but I need to get there fast.
Nia and Idir.. you guys honestly rocks my bejeepebeebers off…
And don’t ever let me say that ever again >.<
So how did two incredibly smart queerlicious kids from Mahgreb find my blog? After reading a bit of yours, I’ve decided that I have friends you really need to meet–in an ASAP fashion. over the internets.
